Poor little Mikki - I pray that your early intervention will catch that infection before it had time to get too much of a blood level & the antibiotics are working as we speak. Did the vet know what the source of the infection was? A UTI, bad tooth, ear? Please keep us updated on that sweet "little sister" & I will be praying she is much better by tomorow. Try not to worry - you took her in ASAP. |
I think we will know more from the blood work. I didn't stay to get the results and he told us to come in tomorrow if she wasn't better. I am sure he will call me tomorrow and let me know. I was so glad he agreed to meet me since he was closed. I do appreciate ER vets but prefer my vet of course. So I think I will know more tomorrow.

I am hoping that this thread will help others see that. So many post on here and want to wait to take their pups in. In less than 24 hours a lot can happen. I hope that they will see that!!
