I understand about finding a good groomer. Maybe you can keep your eye out for a well groomed dog and ask the person who does their dog. I stopped taking mine in about three years ago. I had one drugged when he was a pup. I also had two occasions where they had cut hair that shouldn't have been cut. I gave up, so I've been doing it myself. It may not be "correct" at times but it's ok.

I keep my boys in long coats so it's easier to just trim them up a little but if they where in puppy cuts I don't think I could do that......Good luck in finding a good groomer.
