The first one I got was used off ebay. The seller said she bought it when her dog was still a puppy so now needed to get a bigger size. It's quite a bit of money for one, so I would say wait until she's about 1 1/2 then buy one. Usually about 1 year they stop growing "up" and then from until about 2-3 they grow "out".
As for gaining a pound after spay, I wouldn't really agree with that. Really depends on when the dog was spayed. For example, if it's a puppy, of course she will gain some more afterwards. For an adult dog, like Uni wasn't spayed until she was 3 yrs old, she didn't really gain too much, maybe 1/2 a lbs, but her appetite got a lot better. |

luma is ELEVEN inches from top of the shoulder to floor!! She has the longest legs and a skinny, long neck.
I definitely still want one..right now we're using this ratty old harness we got before we brought her home, from petco, and it slips over her head, which I hateeee because it messes up her topknot! And she growls before she pushes her head through, like :sigh: this thing again? Haha. I also really want a fabuleash. I mean, Luma wants a fabuleash.
