Thanks for prayers and concern for Dinky. I am happy to say that after keeping him "off his feet" for about a week, that he stopped limping. He seems to be in no pain now. He is feeling great.
I think he might have twisted something or stretched the ligament. Anyway, the rest seems to have done the trick. He has a follow up next week, but I'm thinking we may have dodged the surgery ordeal for now.
I still try to keep him from jumping off furniture for now, and most of the time, I carry him up and down the porch steps. Of course, he now prefers this, and waits for me to carry him up and down for his potty times.
Oh, they do take to being pampered don't they! |
