Today is Cooper Dog's birthday!! He is 4.

My family began to form the day I brought Cooper home. I had a dog growing up, but never did I know how much a pet could complete me until I got my little mutt man. He has the most amazing disposition and is the absolute friendliest dog I have ever seen. He loves all people and has no qualms about saying hello (tackling with kisses) to every person he meets. I have seen him maul over small children at the dog park. Heck, I've seen him try to take old ladies down.

I've had a few professional trainers for Cooper over the years. Boy have we tried! But the one thing that he's perfectly trained at is smiling on command. And come to think of it, I think that's all we need.

I feel very, very lucky to share my life with Cooper, who has taught me so much about unconditional love.
