I guess I just don't understand why a vet would tell me that I need to give it monthly for the whole year when the only way a dog can get it is through a infected mosquito,

mosquitoes only live for a few months a year here and I'm not planning on traveling to Burma or something.

I'm not a moron, I can put it on the calendar, giving it when not needed just so you don't forget to when it is??? ugh that can't be healthy
