Default Please Be Careful With Flea Collars

I know alot of poeple may use collars for fleas, mosquitoes during the summer but I really hope that most DONT after reading this.My mother in law buys flea/mosquitoe collars for all of her dogs this time of year, she always has and up until now she hadnt thought twice about it,she just assumed it was a sensible thing to do as she lives in the middle of the countryside where there are LOTS of mosquitoes and even mre fleas/tics.But yesturday one of her dogs got out of the collar and ate it.He died..and not due to plastic or because he choked, but because of the poison in the collar! He only ate half and it doesnt look as though he got to do much more Please DONT use flea collars on any of your babies because you never know what they could do when you leave them alone.Flea collars dont have a regular buckle like normal collars do,so if they get it caught or get their paws under it,it is easily removed and they are poisonous (sp?).I just wanted to warn you all..
