Yes, you will need to have a referral from your vet. It is a VERY simple process. I'm glad I went....Dr. Tobias and her residents are the best. Gigi did have a liver shunt which was corrected. Liver biopsy later revealed she also had mild MVD.

Thank you for sharing your story. Did Gigi have symptoms at all? What do you mean when you say there were concerns regarding her age? Also, if I can ask...how long after the initial BAT/bloodwork did you take her to UT?
