We brought Georgie home and he harrassed our 75lb Boxer. He was a puppy and she was 6. I have pictures to prove it! Georgie loved to play and Coco well she wanted to be left alone. She finally started to open her mouth and make funny noises when he would play with her. I don't think she ever showed him she was boss. I do know the puppy stage ended and Georgie stopped nipping and bugging her all the time. As a matter of fact they are both laying here snuggled together snoring
I will tell you one thing that worked for us was redirecting him. We would take one of his squeaky toys and start playing with him and he left her alone.
