Grady is such a great dog. He is SO well behaved and never barks, tries to escape etc. We are really excited about getting a puppy and my husband grew up in a family of dog breeders, so we do understand the time and attention the little one will need. I know Grady is great with small dogs. I am not really worry about that. The thing I am worried about is that I have always had large dogs and I associate small dogs with biting and yipping. I know that is not true for all dogs and there are PLENTY of large dogs that do not behave well. (many are my neighbors!)

I was hoping to get some advice from Yorkie owners about behavior traits, training...things like that. Especially from someone who has young children, like we do. I Googled it and every site said NEVER get a Yorkie with small kids. I just know you can't trust all sources. My daughter's father has two pitbulls and they are the nicest, most well behaved dogs I have ever seen and MANY people think they are vicious dogs. So... I want some advice from the people who know!

Ps... I have already enrolled the new puppy in Puppy Kindergarten classes. We are getting him this weekend

Thanks in advance for any advice!
Congrats on your new baby. All dog's are different with their personality and how they act. It is up to as the owner to teach the dog.
As for the Puppy Classes, please make sure it has all of it's before being around other dog's, since you didn't say how old it was.
