I'd be so afraid the frog or bird had some disease or ate something itself that could make Tibbe sick or kill him that I would never allow it - aside from the gross factor. When we're out on walks, he's on his leash & I control his pursuits for his safety sake. He'd probably eat anything he came across but I prevent it. Who knows if a frog has been in a leptospirosis-polluted puddle just B4 the dog came upon it or something like that. I don't know if a dog could get a disease like that but I will never permit his getting to the frog so hopefully I won't have to find out.
