Our largest yorkie Ginger (about 10-11 lbs) has caught, killed, and at least partially eaten several birds and small rabbits. Of course we take them from her when we see her with them, but by then they are usually at least half eaten. She manages to catch them somehow. She has never really had a problem except once she had a bone from a bird stuck in her mouth and we had to take it out.
