 heartworm advice
We rescued a Yorkie about a week ago and when we took him to the vet they told us he had beginning stages of heartworms and now he has to have treatments. Its being broken up into two rounds. He had his first round yesterday. The vet told us that Cruz needed to be kept calm and CANNOT get excited, but cruz is always very hyper and gets excited easily and I am not sure how I am going to keep him calm for two months. Has anyone had this problem and had to keep their dog calm? I am very afraid he is going to get excited and die and I will be devestated. Any advice would be appreciated. |
