I agree with snow-wa! Look at the parents, it will be your best guess. Mine had four pups 8 month ago. The boys are still black, the girls 'broke blue' at around 2 months (gray coming into hair). Teddy is just now starting to get a lot of grey undercoat, Quattro is still very black. All my pups have a silky coat (although when it is mixed it seems to get more matty.) I dont think you can tell for sure until the black is gone
