Hello and welcome! I have also heard that some frogs can be very poisonous to dogs. Best to keep a better eye on your pup and maybe take something with you like some chicken or hotdog and offer a trade - the bird or frog for something tastier - hopefully he will eventually realize that it is better to drop the yucky stuff and eat what you are giving him. At 5 months old, he is still learning. Good luck!
