If you're not going to bred him (and 99% of us shouldn't be doing that) -- I would definitely neuter him.
The reasons to have him neutered far far far outweigh any reasons not to have it done.
Every pet I have owned over the past 20 or 30 years has been spayed or neutered.......wouldn't have it any other way!
