Am I reading this wrong? Yorkies are very social and like to be with their people/person....why isn't she interacting with the family? You said there is a gate to keep her in the back..are you home during the day? And i agree with the others she needs to be fed 4x per day, then you can gradually reduce her feedings to three, then two times per day. It sounds like she is left alone quite abit...I realize people have different lifestlyes, and sometimes she has to be left, I hope you are spending as much time as you can with her.
