I have had dogs before, but never a Yorkie. My sister has a Yorkie that I have dogsat several times, so I am taking the plunge and getting one of my own. I am getting a three year old male that is no longer being bred because the breeder is having a baby. I am going to get him neutered because I have no desire to breed him. I got a clean bill of health for him, and he is up to date on all his vaccinations. Is there anything special I need to know about Yorkies for training, health, grooming, etc. that is special to them?
