The pred will reduce any swelling in his head from the injury in the fall. If he hit his shoulders he could have swelling there too. That may feel strange to him...similar to someone holding him down, maybe causing him to be uncomfortable, not pain but pressure.
Like when you sprain a wrist and you have trouble moving your hand. It may just be freaking him out a bit. Or when they give a dog SubQ fluids at the vets, some dogs tolerate it well, I've seen others try to run from the strange lump on their backs, or they shake alot trying to get rid of it. |
