Well, begging always works well! I guess I was lucky, my husband hated little dogs but knew I wanted a Yorkie. He made the mistake of mentioning it to his friends at work (girls) who all thought I should have one. We went to look at a couple (to choose) and chose them both. When we had puppies earlier this year, I just hoped he would love them as much as I did. When he began to learn their names, I knew he was hooked. He was embarrassed to say we had 6 yorkies, but now he is PROUD of his little crew. Now he embarrasses me when I have a friend over and he comes in jumping to the floor for all the little kisses. I guess for me, they sell themselves. Just give him a chance to fall in love! If it's not right, it is for the best, but if your guy is a softee like mine, he just can't resist those precious little angels! |
