My Cookie was put on a diet of tilapia and sweet potatoes by a vet nutritionist in December after being diagnosed with lymphangectasia. She was losing protein, and her levels were devastatingly low. That diet has completely turned her around! Her protein levels immediately started to rise and are stable...have been for months now.
I also use sweet potatoes now as treats for my other pups...they love them!
