Thanks guys for your input. I did call the vet and they told me about a pill we can use. I am going to switch to that next month. They told me I did need to try to get the full dose in her, so I ended up taking the pea sized amount we had left and smashing it up with my fingers to itty bitty pieces. I then mixed it in with a bit of yogurt. I was sure Katie Scarlett would lap it right up. She loves yogurt! Wouldn't you know that little booger took a lick, swirled it around in her mouth, and popped the medicine part back out! I had to laugh! So I ended up getting my husband to hold her and I put the yogurt near the back of her throat and we held her mouth closed for a second while she swallowed. I hated to do that, but it was all I could think of. She takes pills much better when they are hidden in cheese so I think the pill will work better for us.
