I haven't seen any comment especially from the OP about what is required from a reputable show breeder to ever hope to get a dog from someone on open papers to show.
The show world is worldwide. But it is also very small. Now with computers it is very easy to check out a prospective buyer wanting a show dog or a pet. It doesn't matter if the person is involved somewhere int he dog world, even showing a different breed. they will still be checked out by someone reputable before they will agree to mentor or work with someone new to the Yorkie.
