well if you give heartguard chewables they do have to eat the whole thing at once cause the medince may not be even thru the whole thing.
You can buy iverhart tabs , they are very small.
Ask your vet about that.
Also revolution which covers heartworm plus fleas ,ticks, internal parasites. That is what i use for oscar.
