hi , to answer your question about variety.
there is only one variety of yorkie,
the toy group. yorkies come in all shapes and sizes but the terms
tea cup , mini etc are just words that people invented to make the puppy sound more valuable when being sold.

what does your vet say about your puppy weight?
if he does need to gain weight you could try a good quality puppy food. Fromm is a good brand. My oscar is on that...
