I would be very upset if my vet did not prescribe something for pain. Of course they will have pain - how could they not??? This is major surgery for these baby's. Are we just supposed to believe that they do not feel? My goodness, they have been cut open and had organs removed - they will be in pain. They just can't voice it like humans, and in the wild they would be killed if they showed weakness. I have been told that is the reason they hide their pain. We have to be the voice for these little ones...if she acts uncomfortable, I would call your vet and insist they give you something to make her more comfortable. You are right to be such a good mama and be concerned...she is lucky to have you taking care of her! |
