 We're new!
Hello everyone,
My name is Jeannea and I am the new mommy of a 6 month old Yorkie/Maltese named Jackson Lee or Jack-Jack for short. He became a member of our family almost two weeks ago and it has been a wonderful experience so far. We are headed to the vet on Saturday to be sure all of our shots are up to date, then back on the 31st to have him neutered which will make my 3 year old female Cocker Spaniel happy!
We adopted Jack-Jack a little over a month after the loss of our sweet Chelsea Copper, a 15 year old Sheltie. It was the hardest decision I have ever made to have her put down but I know in my heart it was the best thing for her. The vet told me she was bleeding internally so we said goodbye. I still have rough days but Lady, our Cocker, and Jack-Jack really help. I'm really glad we went with a different breed, gender and size.
