I am considering it myself and know someone who has had it done and couldn't be more happy. I got her doctor's name and will in the future go to him and see if I am a good candidate.
I am like you in that I have been wearing glasses since I was about 9, too. I still remember putting on my first eyeglasses and being in awe how everything was supposed to look! It's good to know there are others who are happy with their outcome!!
