 How do your yorkies ride in the car?
When we got Phoebe last summer I always had her in her crate on the floor. Once she got too big for the crate, she would sit on someone's lap and they'd hold her. Then winter came and she only went out a few times for grooming. Now that it's warmed up a bit she'll be out and about with us a lot more. I don't feel that it's safe for her on my kids' lap.
The options I've seen and considered so far are the car seat booster, travel bag (which can be buckled to a seat), or a crate.
