YHR has a puppy that had similar issues. His blood sugar is now stable, but he did lose quite a bit of hair. He had a bacterial infection and then a yeast infection.
I think it might be common for this to happen since the body is so stressed out during hypoglycemic attacks.
If it does not improve, I would suggest perhaps a dermatologist. Maybe ask your vet about that?
