Rainbow Candy passed away

I am sooo sorry to bring you all this terribly sad news. I just needed to talk about her.
Candy died yesterday around 10am, one hour before she was due at the vet. She was doing much better in the last week. Gained weight, Running, playing, biting at toes, adored attention and I swear she posed for pictures.
When I woke up yesterday she wouldnt eat, so I offered her nutrcal, I knew she was feeling terrible because she had always ate it with gusto, loved it and never turned it down. She didnt jump out of the crate like her cousin did. I was so happy because she had got to where she jumped right out and ran around the kitchen table chasing her cousin. My heart sank when she just sat in the corner. I took her temperature it was normal. The day before she didnt play as hard and slept more but no labored breathing.
When I picked her up she snuggled in my shirt but I noticed a tiny bit of fluid coming from her nostrils and her breathing was labored and so fast.
I called the vet and I was to bring her in, in 2 hours. I kept her tucked in my shirt trying to get a bit of nutracal in her and a bit of water.
She was very quiet then became restless I put her down on the carpet, she stood looked at me, stiffened up and died. She took two more breaths and she was gone. It was that quick.
I can not express the grief I feel over the lose of my Candy girl, it was impossible not to adore her and get attached. Im so glad I have wonderful pictures I took of her recently to remember her by and thank you to all of you who viewed her and ranted how cute she was.
Although my heart is broken, Im glad it is my heart instead of a new owner, my heart goes out to others who have lost a yorkie at any age. Her tiny little face and bright curious eyes haunt me. Maybe I should have listened to mother nature from the start. God I loved that baby so much. Goodbye Candy......all dogs go to heaven.
