I wash the sheets immediately after a guest leaves. ( The guests are usually my grown children.) Since no one goes into the guest room, including the dog, I figure the sheets are ready for the next guest. I suppose if they are left longer than a month, it might be a good idea to wash them again before a guest arrives. I clean all the bathrooms once a week even if there are no guests.
