We don't have people stay the night..... ;-)

Actually, if we have over night guests, I take them to our apartment. It has a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area and is fully stocked. I do that so I don't feel like I have to entertain them while in my home, and they don't have to feel awkward or uneasy. They can have coffee if they want (I don't drink coffee and dont make it). They can stay up late, sleep in, eat in their underwear or take a shower at 3 am and it won't bother anyone in my house.
I make sure everything is clean and stocked before they come, and I strip the sheets and towels and wash them and replace them after they leave. It gets cleaned regardless about twice a month, if no one uses it, more often if someone visits and definitely immediately after someone visits.
