I have had horrible scares from this too ! I am so glad no one was hurt, scratched or bitten. When I told my story about this on YT, some member posted very informed information about opossum(s ?) or it like sheep one is sheep, and more is sheep ?) Anyway I was relieved that they seldom hurt other animals and don't carry rabies as often as skunk, bats, and racoons. But, like Patti said they creep me out too ! That hissing is so frighting !
