I think I paid $70 for my ex-pen, got it at PetSmart. Shop around online, sometimes you can find one on sale, or even a used one on Craigslist. Another alternative would be to get a baby gate (get a plastic one, the wood ones mine liked to chew ) and restrict him to the kitchen or a bathroom at unsupervised times. If you put him in the bathroom, PLEASE make sure the toilet lid is down, as they can fall in and drown, it happened to a member here a while ago I'd also remove or put up high any wastebasket and definitely put the toilet paper up where he can't get it, they ADORE shredding TP

It takes a lot of patience and vigilance to raise these little ones safely. They are terriers, after all, so they have a lot of spunk and stubbornness YT is such a wonderful place to find out things as they come up Glad you found us!!!!
I'm glad that you think that way about the people on here! This is an amazing site. Thank you for thinking about Max! He is completely healthy now.

That sounds like a good price for the pen. I'll check it out as soon as I can! It's always great to find sales and discounts, especially for the really expensive items, haha. Baby gates sounds like a good idea also. Hopefully I have some stored away somewhere! Aww, that's extremely sad. I hope the owner is doing okay and that his/her Yorkie is resting in peace.
Haha! I learned that the hard way when I accidently dropped a toilet paper roll while doing errands. There were "streamers" everywhere!

I must agree with that, lol. It's really hard to train my Max, especially when it comes to potty training and not biting fingers/toes! Did your Yorkie do that too? This website is incredible for owners who have questions or just need to talk to other Yorkie owners! Thank you! I'm glad I found this site too!
