I feel your pain and am so sorry for your loss.

She wasn't a Yorkie, but she was the first dog I'd ever had. We had her since I was three and she was probably about 17 years old when her back legs gave out. We got her chiropractor appointments and for a while it worked, until it stopped working and she stopped eating and drinking. When we took her in to the vet, they found a mass near her lungs but couldn't identify it. I remember holding her in my arms just before we made the decision and the entire vet office was in tears. Afterward, to this day (That was in 2007) I still have trouble dealing with it. It's just good to know that people are there for you and that he is in a better place.

It's hard because you love them so much, but it would have been torture for him to keep him in the condition he was in.
Just know that he didn't hold any of it against you and that you were with him before he closed his eyes for the last time. He knows you will never leave him, as he will never leave you.

My heart goes out to you, love.
