Oh, my heart breaks for you as you go through this. Dont ever second guess your decision....like you said, he relaxed after the sedative...and you gave him the greatest gift you could possibly give him, freedom...freedom from the pain and struggling to even draw in a breath....He thanks you for that....as usual, he always knew he could depend on you to do what was best for him.....and you did not disappoint him. And he waits for you, running and playing and whole again, at Rainbow Bridge, waiting for you to stop by and pick him up, as you start your own journey.
