Sounds great. Lexie is just a pup right? Be prepared if she is scared, those sounds can be loud. If you are going to Ashbridges Bay it is usually a zoo there. Be safe with her... And please make sure she doesn't eat anything off the ground.
I think you are a new dog owner, and maybe haven't followed some pet news here in T.O. but for the last few years come this time of year, spring/summer, there is usually some A.Hole who sets out poisoned food or water.
Just see how it goes, and be prepared to set off back home if necessary.
