My dh has been pulling me up so I wouldn't have to use the abdominal muscles. It sure did help. He's not here today, so I just tried your suggestion. I found out that if I don't tighten the abdominal muscles, it sure does help. It still hurts, but it helped a lot. Thanks! I also have my mom's walker beside the bed and it helps, too, when I stand, although I'm not using it to walk. I really think I'm doing some better today. Tomorrow should be even better.
