My mom has a beagle mix who licks his paws a lot but doesn't have allergies or anything but will lick them so much the hair sometimes thins out but he is a nervous dog so they think that's why. Callie will sometimes lick her paws like crazy when her allergies are bothering her so I tell her to stop and she does and I also wipe them with a sensitive baby wipe every night before bed.
