I am so sorry to hear this but you have the right attitude...everything happens for a reason. The majority of jobs outsourced/offshore are slowly coming back to the US because over time the local governments are imposing financial demands on the US companies which eventually makes it more costly to do the job there (than in the US). Take this opportunity to probably pursue a job in another area, thus building skills and making yourself even more competitive.
