My advice is to follow your heart. 1) I would not want my Yorkie to be kept over night at Vet's when no one was there. 2) Being given anesthesia once is preferable, there is always a risk but, we have weigh what is best for our Yorkie. 3. Going to see your brother is important. I would pray about it and sleep on it, then make my decision.
