I would (as always) tweak the spices. I double or triple what is called for in recipes calling for high amounts of beans, potatoes or tomatoes. Those items tend to really "need" it.
The reviews said the spice level could stand to be bumped up a bit too. My
M.O. with burgers of any kind is to fry up a mini taster burger at different stages to see what the final product needs. Of course, I end up not being hungry for the final product that night
