At least the dog passed in a caring environment and in warm, loving hands instead of out in the world cold and alone.

It does matter because when a dog is picked up from the streets the first thing that should be done is a vet check and if that can not be afforded the dog needs to be given to a rescue or shelter that can. She went out and bought dishes and things for this dog but couldn't take it to the vet I don't understand that.
