I use Plush Puppy sun screen. I use it on the Blackies as well as Razzle. Truthfully I use it to try to keep the black coat from fading, and for Razzle don't want his steely blue to fade out, plus it is an additional protectant from water drying out the coat.

We are outside a whole lot in the warmer months. I also use mud coats on the Blackies, and of course Razzle is in his wrapper. That helps to keep the sun off their fur.
