I have a designer one by viking. I think they bought Janome because the machines are very similar. The top of the line is not cheap. Mine is 10 years old and going strong.. I do have a major problem with tension and one day will get it repaired I just adjust manually now. I can not "set it and leave" when doing emboridery but I will say it is an amazing sewing machine and does quilting very well. I do want a newer model... but that isn't happening anytime soon.
