He's teething. At 11 weeks, his little gums are throbbing in pain as those share teeth cut through them.
Gabby wasn't a chewer at all except when she was teething. So I took a few new washcloths, made them wet and froze them. I also packed a kong toy with peanut butter and froze that. Anything you can freeze. Even Nylabones, Orka toys, and toys designed for teething puppies are always more soothing when they're cold.
The most important thing you can do is when you catch him chewing on something he shouldn't be, tell him no and offer him something he CAN chew on. At this point, he doesn't know how to identify his toys from yours. |
