Perhaps because this is what I'll be saying every 15 minutes for the rest of my life. Between the kids and my DH, I'm pretty sure my yorkies are going to outlive me.

I want the name Lucy. DH says no because he has an annoying friend that has a dog named Lucy.
My oldest daughter suggested Katerina and we call her Kat. Ummm...no. No.. can't do that.
My other daughter has some japanese name in mind that I can't even pronounce. And my son wants to name her Spiro after his favorite Skylander (video game).

I know someone called Lucy...and I must admit, she's quite annoying too...
Her sister's called Katy though, and she's lovely - how about that? That would incorporate the Katerina...
Or Saki? Or Sushi? Trying to keep the Japanese theme going....
