iBooks is great, but Kindle has more books available.

The newsstand is great too! Those are built in. The iPad is pretty fabulous even without any apps!
I didn't know there was such an app. Thanks for the suggestion!
And I completely agree on the separate keyboard if the iPad will be used for more than just browsing.
