It wasn't a cast, but just a gauze wrap. Was on tight to keep things in place for a few days. I'll be the one to take the stitches out as well. I did that when Zada had knee surgery too. Don't see driving almost 100 miles one way two different times for free follow up, once for removing the wrap, then go back a week later to have stitches removed. The Vet. here in town would charge me both office calls. She does go back on the 30th though.
